For families with young children , the hosts can provide on request a cot with linen, a cradle, a changing table, a high chair, a baby bath and even a baby monitor. Truly thought of down to the last detail!
If you thought a self-catering holiday meant more work, think again: at the Obermoarhof the apartment is tidied every day , with a service worthy of a hotel! On top of that, towels and bed linen are included, and Wi-Fi is free . And great news for those travelling with a four-legged friend: the residence welcomes pets .
Residence with Pool, Playgrounds and .. The residence has plenty of outdoor space: two large playgrounds with a trampoline mat, a zip wire, ping-pong, foosball, go-karts, tractors and bicycles for all ages. The garden also features a Kneipp path — perfect for a relaxing moment in contact with nature.
On warm days, what could be better than a dip in the pool? The outdoor pool is heated by solar panels and is open from late April to mid-October. The older kids can lounge on the poolside sunbeds while the little ones splash around happily!
.. and the farm! To the delight of the children, the Residence Obermoarhof is also a working farm , with cows, rabbits and hens!
Dining and Board The residence offers, for those who wish, a breakfast service with both sweet and savoury dishes, all made with zero-kilometre produce — in fact, homemade! Fruit juices, jams, honey, cakes, ice cream, speck, seasonal fruit and vegetables (only when they're perfectly ripe, promise!). A delicious way to start the day.
Holiday in the Puster Valley: Summer and Winter A holiday at the Obermoarhof is a holiday immersed in nature — and the great thing is that the residence is open all year round !
In summer, trails set off directly from the residence to reach the Vandoies di Sopra waterfall along the Elves' Path , or you can take woodland walks through meadows and clearings. A short walk or bike ride brings you to the large new playground in the village.
For cycling enthusiasts, the Puster Valley cycle path is accessible directly from the farmhouse! The residence provides bicycles, child seats and helmets. The South Tyrol cycle paths are all connected, paved and traffic-free: by bike you can reach Bressanone, Brunico, Dobbiaco and even Bolzano . It's just a matter of leg power!
In winter, the Puster Valley transforms into a paradise for snow sports : a short distance from the residence you'll find the ski resorts of Gitschberg-Jochtal, Rodengo and Plose, and the famous Plan de Corones is just 15 minutes away. Guests of the Obermoarhof can purchase ski passes at specially discounted rates. For those who prefer the outdoors without skis, snowshoeing and sledging (with sleds available to borrow from the residence!) are the perfect choice.
From 1 May to 30 November, guests receive the Südtirol Guest Pass free of charge. With this card you can use all public transport in South Tyrol for free: buses, trains and cable cars. Also included is entry to over 80 museums and castles, plus an organised animation and excursions programme.
The Puster Valley offers a world of activities in every season: the only difficulty is choosing what to do first!
