MUSE is Trento's science museum, designed by Renzo Piano. Its bright, mountain-inspired architecture makes the museum spectacular even from the outside. Inside, it has six floors with immersive paths dedicated to nature, science and the environment, designed to engage families and children of all ages.
A perfect museum for families MUSE is a fully interactive museum: each floor offers hands-on activities, multimedia installations, realistic settings and spaces where children can experiment with curiosity. Maxi Ooh! - the space dedicated to 0-5 year olds An entire floor is dedicated to toddlers: the Maxi Ooh! . It is a sensory space designed for babies aged 0-5, a soft and protected environment where they can explore lights, sounds, heated floors, projections and interactive games. Admission is popular and must be booked online . Herbal teas, small snacks and changing tables with diapers are available inside. You must enter without shoes to participate: non-slip socks recommended.
Activities for older children For children and teens, there are science workshops, guided experiments, thematic insights and spaces in which to observe, try and build. Activities change often and make each visit new and exciting.
How long does it take to visit A half-day is enough time to visit the museum, but curious children may want to stay longer, especially if they participate in the workshops.
